Today’s RVs are High Tech and Smart

Today’s RVs are being made with smarter technologies. Some newer RVs are coming equipped with a “smart home” system, making your setup process faster and easier. With the ease of a touchscreen, awnings are drawn while you control the lights inside. And products like KING’s satellite let you easily use your TV, radio, or Bluetooth.

RVs are also integrating smartphone technology, making it easier to use GPS systems or your favorite camping apps. Campgrounds and RV Parks are investing more money into technology, as well. More campground sites offer online booking systems, Wi-Fi, and satellite TV to keep on track with techie RVers.

More Campers Are Choosing Smaller RVs

With the growing popularity of road trips across the country, smaller RVs have become more convenient for travels. According to RVIA, travel trailers and type “C” motorhomes are projecting the most growth.

The idea of full-time RVing has been a popular topic recently, causing more retirees and even young couples to leave their traditional homes for the less stressful RV life.

RV Campers Still Want to Stay Connected

One of the reasons many campers travel by RV is to be able to stay connected. So some campers see it as a deal breaker if a campground doesn’t have Wi-Fi. As a matter of fact, expect to see the majority of RV campgrounds providing Wi-Fi very soon.

Whether you’re full-time RVing or taking the occasional family getaway, travelers want to be able to connect with others and share their adventures, ideas, and tips. For those traveling off the beaten road, there are other ways for RVers to remain connected.
