RV Skiing Adventures

Winter in the northern tier states indicates one primary weather pattern:  SNOW!

Why not embrace winter with an RV Skiing Adventure?!  Many ski resorts allow RVs to park overnight in their lots, while some even have the complete hook-up.

Here are a just few reasons to pack up your family and jump in your RV to enjoy a skiing (or snowboarding!) adventure:

  • Cost of passes. Day passes often cost up to $120 per day, while you can purchase a season pass for under $500.  If you’re planning to ski or board for several days, a season pass or a ticket bundle is usually a better bargain.  A ticket bundle or season pass also allows you the freedom to enjoy the mountain(s) at your own pace with no pressure to ski or board from open to close.  Relax in the lodge, visit the spa, or hit the slopes time and time again – the choice is yours!
  • Lessons for the kids. With a season pass, there is often a discount on lessons!  If the younger members of your family aren’t quite the seasoned skiiers or boarders as the parents, they can learn in a safe environment and (bonus!) it’s basically built in babysitting!
  • The community! The camaraderie between skiing and boarding families and friends is awesome!  Once you experience a vacation at a ski resort, you’ll keep planning to come back year after year.  In addition to all the fun on the slopes, think game nights, football Sundays, chili cook-offs and lifelong friends.

Whether you’re a seasoned ski bum or embarking on your first winter RV adventure, we have put together a list of RV-friendly ski resorts.
